CARDINAL AR brand

This project was one that had a quick turn around where I was tasked with creating an app icon. The app “Cardinal AR” is one that takes AR from your mobile devices camera and brings spots across Ball State’s campus to life.

In the process of creating this icon I took into account the idea of having to use the camera as your main focus to see these augmented reality locations. That’s where the diagonal lines come into play to form the look of an aperture from a camera.

With the way that I made my stylistic choices it set the tone for the rest of the branding and how text treatment would be executed throughout the whole project.
