PAGODA - RELIEF PRINT

This work is the first relief print I made in my Intro to printmaking class. The subject matter are columns that are erected around Ball State’s Beneficence statue. I zoomed in on the subject matter while sitting a couple hundred feet away. As the design and print came along, it was apparent that these forms could be interpreted as pagodas.
